I just received my Molly doll(about an hour ago) and am so thrilled with her that I haven't even removed her from the box. She is by far the most beautiful doll that I own.
Her clothing is perfect. I almost hate to undress her, but she'll have the most beautiful clothes I can create for her.
Have a few new patterns coming so I better get to sewing.
Have a great week.

New Outfits
Well here are the two outfits that I promised I'd post for ya. The first one is a party dress that has cupcakes on a pink background with a brown and white polka dot collar and hem and also on the sleeves.
The other outfit is a little more casual. I features monkies and hearts
on a soft teal background. On the skirt there is a pocket with a tiny handerchief. This outfit also comes with pantaloons.

Finished up two outfits yesterday and will take pictures of them today. I started out knitting a sweater for American Girl doll in yellow for this Spring. It's been a awhile since I've knitted, so we'll see how it turns out. I'm not using any pattern just playing it by ear. Be back later with some pics~Charlene

Whew, I can't believe it's been this long since I posted last. There's been some changes going on. I will be getting a new look on my Etsy shop and on here. I've decided to pursue making doll clothes for American Girl dolls. My daughter before Christmas made the comment "you sure like making doll clothes the best Mom, huh?" I thought about it and my answer was yes, I do love making frilly dresses. To my dismay, it wasn't long before my daughters outgrew (6 yrs old) liking dresses and opted for jeans. I started out making doll clothes when I was little, I used material from my Mom's old dresses and the dresses we outgrew, so I guess in my latter years I'm going back to my beginings. So I bought a few patterns and started making some doll dresses put them in my Etsy shop and to my surprise I sold fifteen outfits out of twenty in January. Here are some of the clothes I've made and as I add new ones I will post them here.
